Career Hub
StandOut is centred around commitment. We understand that, in order to provoke long term change, we need to be there for people for the long haul. That’s why, as part of the holistic package of support on offer for StandOut participants that have been released from prison, our Community Coaching Team host monthly Career Hubs.
These sessions are held at our office space, where participants can come together to access peer-support, connect with inclusive employers and get practical help from the StandOut team with their job search and career development.
Like Carl, who after doing the StandOut Programme in HMP Wandsworth in 2019, faced several challenges upon release including battling with severe long covid. In March 2022, thanks to his resilience, Carl has gone from strength to strength and after attending Career Hub secured a role in hospitality.
