Redemption Roasters: Junior Operations Manager
Redemption Roasters are looking for a full-time Junior Operations Manager to support our 12 London coffee shop managers. You’ll be the operational force that keeps our stores running brilliantly every day – coaching managers, enforcing consistent standards, solving practical problems, and ensuring our teams deliver excellent hospitality and exceptional coffee and food every day.
Lead on the shop floor across all stores, ensuring warm hospitality, excellent coffee, great food, and high presentation standards every day.
Support Coffee Shop Managers with practical, real-world advice on cost management, sales performance, labour efficiency, and sensible financial decision-making.
Provide hands-on coaching for managers and teams during service, helping them build strong leadership, structured routines, and great shift execution.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training across the stores to help build strong, capable café teams.
Support managers with stock control, ordering, inventory accuracy, and waste reduction to protect margins and avoid unnecessary costs.
Troubleshoot coffee equipment issues (machines, grinders, Ubermilk), support correct maintenance routines, and help uphold specialty coffee standards.
Step in as the acting Coffee Shop Manager during manager vacancies, sickness, holidays, or emergencies - ensuring each café continues to operate smoothly and consistently.
Help roll out store refreshes, operational changes, menu updates, new systems, and new processes across the estate.
📰 Contract: Full time
Pay: £40,000 per annum

DHL: Warehouse Operative
To be a Warehouse Operative, you won’t need experience. You will need a strong work ethic and real attention to detail. It’s a physical job, in a busy warehouse that’s always working at full speed, so you’ll be on the go throughout your shift. Whatever task you’re performing, your attention to detail will make sure every parcel gets to its customer right on time.
You will need an eye for detail, a flexible approach to work and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and passionate approach.
They welcome applicants from all backgrounds, including people with criminal convictions.

Connection Crew Freelance Event Crew in March
You'll be working across London and further afield on events, film and TV locations, studios, construction sites, iconic venues, and more! The work is hard and the hours can vary drastically each week. You'll rarely be in the same place from one day to the next - which can be exciting!
A typical job could include:
building sets and stages for a festival
loading tonnes and tonnes of flight cases and equipment onto trucks
setting up furniture, screens and sound systems for a conference at a 5* hotel
installing modular systems on a construction site
moving scenery and props on a film set
They would like applicants to have a positive attitude and want to work; be physically fit be; able to communicate effectively and work well in a team; always be punctual and able to work to deadlines.
📰 Contract: Casual, Flexible, Freelance
Pay: £13.85 today, moving to £14.80 by 1st May 2026

XO Barbers:
XO Barbers offers hands‑on barbering training through Onwards & Upwards, designed to help people - particularly those who have faced barriers to employment - build skills and confidence for a career in barbering. Their programme runs both inside HMP Brixton and in the community, where trainees learn core barbering techniques and practice real haircuts in a professional setting. Trainees are supported from initial training through to gaining real experience on clients, often at low‑cost training trims, and the initiative aims to improve employment prospects and provide a fresh start for participants.
XO Barbers Blackfriars Road has officially opened its doors on 12th Jan 2026 for their training programme in the community. Referrals for the course are now open.

KERB: Street food training
Kerb offers an opportunity for anyone who aspires to start their own food business to learn everything about owning a business, planning and executing there idea, through online courses and in person workshops. There is then an opportunity to pitch your completed busy plan to a group of professionals who may then fund your business start up.

Kier Highways Maintenance Apprentice
As a Highways Maintenance Apprentice you'll be enrolled onto a Level 2 apprenticeship in Highways Maintenance Skilled Operative, giving you the opportunity to earn whilst you learn. You'll work closely with the Transportation team to design, build and maintain infrastructure for the highways, rail, aviation and ports sectors, with a common goal of connecting people
Your day to day will include:
Providing routine maintenance and ensuring continued operation of roads, tunnels, and bridges in the area
Other activities such as kerbing, concrete work and laying asphalt
Assisting in monitoring traffic flow during maintenance operations
Following health and safety protocols, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensuring a safe working environment
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day-to-day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.
Requirements
Are over 18 years of age
A minimum of GCSEs at grades 3 – 9 (GCSE D or above), Functional Skills level 1 in English and Maths
Have the ability to handle physical work in varying weather conditions
Have the ability to work collaboratively with a team

This is a UK charity that uses football as a way to bring people together and create positive change for individuals facing social exclusion, including people experiencing homelessness, seeking asylum, or struggling with mental health or justice system involvement.

❗Turn up with no referral or registration needed!
Beyond playing football, the organisation provides wrap‑around support such as:
-housing advice -emotional support -access to education -volunteering opportunities and connection with partner services to help players build confidence and work toward positive futures.
Get involved by attending local drop‑in football sessions, or by contacting Street Soccer to learn more about programmes in their area.
📍Sessions take place in locations across London including Lambeth, Southwark and Shoreditch.
StandOut Support
We have grants and financial support available; covering household items, emergency accommodation, travel, ID, food and more. We also have progression grants to support you with starting a course or purchasing equipment such as PPE to start work.
Clothing (including coats) and toiletries are also available to collect from our offices in Vauxhall.
