You'll be at the heart of the café experience – delivering exceptional coffee, warm hospitality, and great food while helping to bring Redemption's mission of reducing reoffending through coffee to life every day.

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked café environment, supporting smooth operations throughout every shift.

  • Work flexibly across all areas of the café, including front of house, coffee bar, and food preparation, stepping in wherever support is needed.

Iceland: Home Delivery Driver (Inside M25)

Iceland are looking for a Home Delivery Driver to join their team. You'll be the face of the business on the road, delivering customers' shopping safely and efficiently while providing excellent service and ensuring every order arrives in the best possible condition.

  • Ensure safe van loading procedures are followed (i.e heavy lifting & manual handling)

  • Flexibility to work shifts, the patterns can vary between 6am & 11pm

  • Complete van checks

  • Ensure food arrives to the customer in the best condition

  • Support in-store operations when required, helping the wider team deliver excellent service.

Social Bite: Kitchen Assistant

The Castle Pub Group are looking for a part-time Kitchen Assistant to join the team at The Alwyne Castle. You'll support the smooth running of a busy kitchen, helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food preparation while working as part of a fast-paced Back of House team.

  • Support the kitchen team with pot washing, plate turnaround, and maintaining a clean and organised working environment throughout service.

  • No experience needed but candidate must be able to work in a busy environment, smart presentation, flexibility around working hours (the work will include weekends) and good level of English.

Criteria:

  • Lived experience of homelessness or at risk of homelessness.

📰 Contract: Part time, 16-20 hours a week (with the option to increase as time goes on) latest finish around 11:30pm.

Shift Pattern: Flexible. Mostly Saturday, Sunday and Mondays.

💷 Pay: Hourly rate £12.89 plus service and tips

Education and Training

JBT Training: Trainee Site Supervisor

JBT Training are looking for a full-time Site Supervisor Apprentice to join their construction programme in London. You'll be working across live sites while developing the skills needed to build a career in construction supervision, combining hands-on site experience with structured college-based learning.

  • Support day-to-day activity on construction sites, helping teams deliver work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard in a fast-paced environment.

  • Take part in structured learning, with 20% of time spent in college and 80% gaining hands-on site experience.

  • Travel across different sites within the local area to support projects and attend training and college sessions.

    🎓 Requirements:

  • English and Maths at GCSE Grade 3 or above, or Functional Skills at Level 1 or above.

  • Living in England for the last 3 years and have right to work status

  • 18+ due to site H&S rules

It would be advantageous if you have already completed technical certificates in construction or multi-skills, have previous related work experience and a CSCS, but this is certainly not essential.

📰 Contract: Full-time Apprenticeship (40 hours per week)

💷 Pay: £12.75 per hour

📍 Location: London

🕒 Working pattern: 07:00–08:00 start times, includes paid college hours

XO Barbers:

XO Barbers offers hands‑on barbering training through Onwards & Upwards, designed to help people - particularly those who have faced barriers to employment - build skills and confidence for a career in barbering. Their programme runs both inside HMP Brixton and in the community, where trainees learn core barbering techniques and practice real haircuts in a professional setting. Trainees are supported from initial training through to gaining real experience on clients, often at low‑cost training trims, and the initiative aims to improve employment prospects and provide a fresh start for participants.

XO Barbers Blackfriars Road has officially opened its doors on 12th Jan 2026 for their training programme in the community. Referrals for the course are now open.

KERB: Street food training

Kerb offers an opportunity for anyone who aspires to start their own food business to learn everything about owning a business, planning and executing there idea, through online courses and in person workshops. There is then an opportunity to pitch your completed busy plan to a group of professionals who may then fund your business start up.

Breakthrough’s online courses are flexible, self‑paced learning programmes designed to equip you with essential skills for today’s tech‑driven world. They cover a wide range of topics - from foundational introductions to artificial intelligence and AI ethics to specialised subjects like AI for social impact, sustainability, and digital workforce development. Many courses are offered for little to no cost, are suitable for all levels of experience, and provide practical knowledge you can apply in real‑world contexts

London Jobs Fair - The Valley

The London Jobs Fair is a free-to-attend recruitment event taking place at The Valley in Charlton, bringing together a wide range of employers from across London. It gives jobseekers the opportunity to meet recruiters face-to-face, explore live vacancies, and gain advice on applications, CVs, and career opportunities in a direct and accessible setting.

Refugee Week 2026: Employability Fair

The Refugee Week 2026 Employability Fair is a free event for refugees, migrants and asylum seekers looking to explore employment, training and volunteering opportunities. Attendees can meet local employers, employability support services, ESOL providers, skills training organisations and adult learning providers, as well as find out more about apprenticeships and volunteering opportunities. The event welcomes people at all stages of their employment journey and aims to provide practical support in a friendly and inclusive environment!

⚽Street Soccer:

This is a UK charity that uses football as a way to bring people together and create positive change for individuals facing social exclusion, including people experiencing homelessness, seeking asylum, or struggling with mental health or justice system involvement.

❗Free, trauma‑informed football sessions that anyone can join
❗Turn up with no referral or registration needed

Beyond playing football, the organisation provides wrap‑around support such as:
-housing advice -emotional support -access to education -volunteering opportunities and connection with partner services to help players build confidence and work toward positive futures.

Get involved by attending local drop‑in football sessions, or by contacting Street Soccer to learn more about programmes in their area.

📍Sessions take place in locations across London including Lambeth, Southwark and Shoreditch.

  • We have grants and financial support available; covering household items, emergency accommodation, travel, ID, food and more. We also have progression grants to support you with starting a course or purchasing equipment such as PPE to start work.

  • Clothing (including coats) and toiletries are also available to collect from our offices in Vauxhall.
